Mello Yoga specialises in Yoga and Mindfulness classes for children and young people within Cheshire West and Chester. We are passionate about helping children develop into healthy confident resilient people with an awareness of the world around them.
Youth Mindfulness Programme
This excellent 8 week introduction to mindfulness is designed by leading mindfulness experts and tailored specifically for young people. It is aimed at ages 7 to 11 years old and the program is fun, interactive and has a strong emphasis on experiential learning. The course introduces the key foundational concepts of mindfulness and helps students build a regular practice. Students learn to pay attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity and warmth. They develop self awareness, learn techniques to help them deal with difficulty, and explore the benefits of gratitude and kindness. .

Yoga Classes

A regular yoga class will build students physical strength and flexibility, but also provides them with tool box of skills and techniques that help them navigate their way through life’s challenges.
Yoga classes incorporate movements focusing on building core strength, flexibility and balance, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.
Yoga classes can be delivered within sport lessons, as part of special events or as an after school class.
Small group work
Classes can be designed to work with a targeted group of children focusing on a specific need. I.e. low self-esteem, emotional literacy.
One to One Sessions
Offer your student one-to-one support. I can offer specialist class for pupils with specific needs i.e. behavioural issues, ADHD, anger management.
Teacher Classes
Invest in your teachers by offering them mindfulness classes or yoga classes. Start the school week off with a positive attitude and watch the knock on effect on your students.
